- ➤ Blue Earth County Board will vote Tuesday on creating a Recycling and Waste Reduction Advisory Committee to improve local solid waste management. Board-appointed members will serve two-year terms and help advise on future waste management strategies. Mankato Free Press

- ➤ The Mankato Figure Skating Club held its 22nd annual Bend of the River Competition Saturday at All Seasons Arena, welcoming 196 skaters from across the region.
