- ➤ American Legion Post 518 will fly a flag in February to honor the Four Chaplains during a monthlong Veteran of the Month tribute. Members will gather at 256 Belgrade Ave. at 10 a.m. on Feb. 7 to remember the WWII chaplains who gave their life jackets. Mankato Free Press
- ➤ Over the weekend, a history program at Blue Earth County History Center (11 a.m. Saturday) and a Candlelight Hike at Fort Ridgley were held.
