- ➤ North Mankato plans to convert the east practice field at Caswell North Soccer Complex to synthetic turf after the City Council approved the $1.2M project at Monday’s meeting — the report says bids will be advertised in early March and construction could begin in May. Mankato Free Press

- ➤ United Hospital District in Blue Earth received a $1.5 million gift from the Mike and Tami Hoffman Family Foundation for a new MRI machine — renovations will start in March and the equipment is expected online by January to expand weekday appointments. KEYC
