- ➤ Maple syrup makers started collecting sap during a warm stretch but will pause extraction today as temperatures are forecast to drop into the 30s by Saturday — they expect production to resume when warmer weather returns. Mankato Free Press
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A new VINE cardio studio opened in July as part of a renovation — a recent upgrade — and now offers free access for members to a full range of ellipticals, treadmills and exercise bikes for heart health. The facility will also host monthly cardiac rehab discussion groups. Mankato Free Press
