- ➤ MSU's EARTH Systems Lab received a $62,000 grant from the Minnesota Historical Society+which will help them hire professionals to develop the state's first reference manual for charcoal remains from archeological sites, addressing a key research gap. Mankato Free Press
- ➤ MSU Mankato held its Criminal Justice Career and Internship Fair on Thursday, Feb. 26 to connect 420 students with 80 employers + local leaders discussed the evolving job market in law enforcement. KEYC
- ➤ Girl Scouts cookie season has started in Mankato as troop leader Amanda Diehm guides girls in selling Thin Mints and Samoas through March 29 while teaching skills like goal setting and communication; she leads five troops and emphasizes values such as courage and confidence in our community.
