  • Hunter Jordan, a Mankato West High School senior, was awarded the League of Women Voters Mankato Area Youth Civic Engagement Fellowship to boost voter registration; local schools celebrated success at the Scarlet Invitational on Feb. 21 while longtime resident Dorothy Enfield turned 102 on Feb. 22.  Mankato Free Press

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Minnesota State men’s hockey team finished Saturday night with a 3-0 win over Northern Michigan, with Tristan Lemyre (13th goal) and Alex Tracy (4th shutout) helping clinch the MacNaughton Cup for the tenth time. They will face Ferris State next weekend for the Mason Cup Quarterfinals.  KEYC
