- ➤ NORTH MANKATO — Rec on the SNOW! will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. Monday at Wheeler Park's Garfield Avenue side; families can enjoy sledding, snow games, ice art, and science experiments during this free outdoor play event. Mankato Free Press

- ➤ The 50th annual Dr. Michael T. Fagin Pan African conference is postponed due to snowy weather and will now take place on April 8 at Minnesota State University's Centennial Student Union Ballroom—registration is required for Sen. Bobby Joe Champion's free keynote address. Mankato Free Press

- ➤ All Saints Catholic Academy in Madison Lake has moved into its new office and day care building, which features a secure entrance, raised ceiling, and additional room for 24 more child care spots (including improved natural light and safety features). Mankato Free Press

- ➤ Riverfront Drive will close for the Veterans Memorial Bridge project on Wednesday, Mar. 25. Traffic will be detoured (via Plum Street, 2nd Street, and Main Street) for about two to three weeks. KEYC

- ➤ Minnesota State women’s basketball ended its season with a 72-63 loss to UMD in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Former Mankato East star Lexi Karge scored 16 for UMD while Natalie Bremer led with 18 points. KEYC
