GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mankato Transit has suspended operations immediately because deteriorating weather forced all fixed routes and mobility bus services to stop. Regular service will resume Monday morning as heavy snow and blizzard conditions continue to affect travel. Mankato Free Press
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Engineers and architects have submitted permits for Front Street Place, a redevelopment project that will replace the former Walgreens and adjacent buildings downtown with apartments, offices, and retail spaces. Work will begin this fall, with construction starting January 2027 and completion expected in 2028 after approvals. Mankato Free Press
