- ➤ Local riders shared e-bike safety tips today, stressing helmets, speed limits, and visibility measures at popular routes in Mankato. Officer Jack Owen warned that the heavier bikes can cause more damage in crashes (riders should read guidelines before riding). Mankato Free Press
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ The Front Street Place redevelopment project, a $60M plan, has attracted strong local support and will be considered by City Council on April 13. The project will replace old buildings with a six-story mixed-use complex featuring offices + 165 apartments and commercial space where Fillin’ Station once stood. Mankato Free Press

Free Oral Cancer Screenings in Mankato & Rochester
In honor of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month, Southeastern Minnesota Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will offer free oral cancer screenings on April 16 from 2 pm to 4 pm at: 2519 Commerce Drive NW, Suite 110, Rochester, Minn., 55901; and 1410 Madison Avenue, Mankato, Minn., 56001. To participate, arrive at one of the clinics during the designated times and ask for a free cancer screening.
