- ➤ At 11:05 a.m. Thursday, New Ulm and Lafayette firefighters controlled a heavy fire that damaged a house at 58608 County Road 21 in Lafayette Township—no one was injured and the cause remains undetermined. Mankato Free Press
- ➤ Two St. Peter residents were injured in a crash on Highway 169 near the south edge of St. Peter on April 17 when a 2019 Dodge Challenger lost control and collided with a 2016 Jeep Cherokee—both received treatment at Rivers Edge Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Mankato Free Press

- ➤ Eagle Lake man William Kyle Roberts, 34, was sentenced to 180 days on work release for four gross misdemeanor charges after being convicted of secretly filming women at Motel 6 on Premier Drive in 2021 and 2022 — hotel security footage showed him entering rooms before guests arrived.
