- ➤ On Thursday’s Minnesota Business Aviation Day at the Mankato Regional Airport, nearly 200 aviation students from MSU and Rochester Community and Technical College joined 20 vendors to explore career opportunities in the local aviation business. - ➤ The Arts Center in St. Peter is hosting the Pageant and Singalong Nation event tomorrow at The Capitol Room, 419 S. - ➤ MnDOT announced a regional traffic sign replacement project will begin Monday and replace aging signs along highways in counties such as Blue Earth, Jackson, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Nobles, Rock, Sibley, and Waseca. The project will be finished by mid-August—motorists should drive carefully near work zones—. Mankato Free Press
- ➤ Today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Mankato Department of Public Safety is hosting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in front of the Public Safety Center on Front Street—unused or expired medications are accepted while needles, sharps, and liquids are not. - ➤ The Mankato Regional Airport is undergoing continuous upgrades to support MSU’s busy aviation program—student flight operations continue to increase with the facility handling about 150 daily movements.
