A group of Mankato radio stations has a new owner as pending federal approval lets Connoisseur Media buy Alpha Media's stations Country 103-5, Z99, River 105 and Rock 95.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of the year - financial details were not disclosed.

Mankato Police arrested a 16-year-old boy after responding just after 7:30 p.m. on Sunday to reports of a stabbing at 2nd Street and Adams Street that left an 18-year-old man seriously injured, with the victim stable after hospital treatment and authorities not seeking additional suspects.

Greater Mankato Growth is accepting applications for construction grants totaling over $700,000 to cover up to thirty percent of construction costs for projects in downtown, Highway 169 and Highway 14 areas.
