- ➤ On Friday, community advocates and cyclists gathered downtown for Bike to Work Day as part of Bike Month to promote safer cycling and active transportation. Additional events, including a Kids Bike Safety Rodeo at River's Edge Hospital, will continue later this month. Mankato Free Press
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ North Mankato's Belgrade Avenue project is moving into its second phase scheduled to begin Monday between Range Street and Wall Street. Crews will complete remaining sidewalk work and start concrete pavement replacement while keeping part of the sidewalk open for pedestrians. Mankato Free Press
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Dr. Vasan Ramanuja of Mankato Clinic advises residents with allergy symptoms to keep windows closed and rinse hair before bedtime as pollen counts remain high. He also warns that those with frequent asthma symptoms using rescue inhalers should seek an allergist's care. Mankato Free Press
