- ➤ After nearly 6 inches of rain on July 23, flooding left 66 tenants at Homestead Apartments displaced as government and nonprofit agencies—led by the Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership—moved most residents to temporary hotels while arranging new housing. - ➤ Truman — The Martin County Sheriff’s Office asked for help from local residents after a pickup truck was stolen around 4:45 a.m. from East Second Street and used in an attempt to take an ATM from Profinium Financial, with video showing at least three masked people fleeing east on 240th Street while officers looked for a light-colored minivan and a four-door white pickup.
