- ➤ North Mankato City Council will set its preliminary 2026 property tax levy at Monday's meeting, with the proposed levy ranging from just over $10 million to $10.2 million. Three options offer increases from 0.641% up to 1.591%, and a potential monthly fee for street lighting may lower rates further—council members must certify the levy by Sept 30 before public hearings on Dec 1 and Dec 15.
