- ➤ Southcentral Minnesota Clean Energy Council will lead tours of energy-efficient homes and businesses on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Participants will meet at LocAle Brewing—228 Poplar St.—to view technology such as solar panels, air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle systems while asking questions about sustainable practices. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mankato’s Riverfront Park amphitheater will receive $3.2 million in upgrades next year, including a storm-resistant roof, 625 permanent chairs, and a 3,000-square-foot storage building. City leaders will also plan an additional $11 million long-term upgrade to add a permanent stagehouse, improved entry, and performer amenities—efforts meant to keep the venue competitive.
