- ➤ The Lake Crystal indoor playground is now open after seven years of planning and funding—offering kids a safe, weather-proof space with slides and climbers while parents can work out nearby. - ➤ At the 20th annual Living Earth Conference, scheduled for November 1 at the MSU Centennial Student Union Room 245, organizers will launch the Mankato Area Earth Coalition to unite local groups for a healthier planet. - ➤ Officials said Highway 22 between St. Peter and Highway 111 reopened on Oct. 22 after a resurfacing project that began on July 14. The $3.8 million work fixed 12 miles of road—adding a right turn lane, better lighting, and improved drainage for safety. KEYC
