On Tuesday, community members gathered at South Central College in North Mankato for the Grateful Gathering where culinary arts students served steaming hot Thanksgiving plates for $10 each—students from the culinary and architectural drafting programs built festive gingerbread houses for a silent auction that benefited both programs, with local resident Renae Kappe traveling 300 miles from Ada to attend.
