EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At a recent Tuesday meeting, the Mankato Area Public School Board appointed its first student representatives, including Vivian Collins and Corrigan McLaughlin, to share ideas on school policies. The board will continue the program so students can offer input on decisions affecting their schools. Mankato Free Press
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ MSU men's hockey lost by a final score of 4-1 to Ferris State on Saturday, Dec. 6 at their home rink, ending their win streak & the team now holds a season record of 11-3-4. KEYC
- ➤ MSU's men's basketball team lost 89-77 to Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday, Dec. 6, leaving the team with a 6-5 record for the season. KEYC
- ➤ The Minnesota State women’s hockey team defeated St. Cloud State 3-2 in overtime Saturday. The win completed their series as the team showed strong play throughout the closely contested game. KEYC
