Cally Roberts, Salt & Fern Bakehaus •Free & open to the public Join us for a Sourdough 101 class to learn the basics of baking bread with a wild yeast starter! Come to the class with a mixing bowl (8-10 inch diameter) and leave with a banneton, bench scraper, jar of starter to keep your sourdough journey going at home, a loaf fully ready to go in your fridge to proof overnight as well as a second loaf that will require its final fold and shaping when you return home after class. We will go over mixing, folding and shaping techniques as well as discuss the science and health benefits of sourdough.
