Doctors of Comedy presented by JUX Downtown Comedy

About this event

The Doctors of Comedy

Three real doctors (and a few friends) trade their day jobs for laughs at this one-night stand-up showcase. Each show ends with a live Q&A called "Ask the Doctors!"

Meet Your Comedy Providers:

Steve Windels , aka The Beaver Doctor, is a professional wildlife biologist by day, stand-up comedian by night who gives a unique perspective on not just the mysteries of the animal kingdom but life in general as a middle-aged divorced dad trying to figure out where he fits on this goofy planet. He was a 2025 finalist for the House of Comedy’s Funniest Person contest and a 2025 finalist of the Funniest Person in Minneapolis. He also produces comedy shows in the Twin Cities and elsewhere in Minnesota. Learn more at www.thebeaverdoctor.com.

Todd Skoda has a law degree, aka a Juris Doctorate aka a Doctor of Laws, and a decision he's never regretted—he never took the bar exam. Why spend years arguing in front of judges when he could spend them arguing with drunk hecklers for half the pay and all the creative freedom? He paid six figures to become almost a lawyer, then chose comedy instead. His parents still think he's about to take the bar. He's about to take the stage.

Gary Freitas is a licensed psychologist, so don't in the front row unless you want to have your childhood traumas diagnosed in front of 100 strangers.

Also featuring Alexa Kocinski and hosted by Sergio Salgado.
